I saw this on a car at a red light. It looks like an IV bag with the line going into the gas tank. I thought maybe it’s being used for a fuel additive, but all the additives I’ve seen you just empty directly into the tank.
Should have flagged the driver down to ask WTH it was… Any idea, Reddit?

I found it in my son’s belonging. What does it represent?

Came across this abandoned building in Angola. Could be an old Portuguese building. Could it have been used to house birds?

No clue what this is. Was on fire in the stove and this apparently shouldn't have been there. Has a usb port, capacitors, and resistors.

A fish, 6 cents two types of flowers a plastic candle & what looks to be a joint.
Edit: 26 cents
Yes I’m aware it’s a fish, I couldn’t find much in it except a possible offering considering the coins

Found in the attic. Lots of small plastic pieces in three different forms. Is it an old game? Toy?

I’ve lived in this house for 8 years and this has always bugged me. It’s not a light or fan switch. When we had the house rewired the electricians didn’t know either. It is wired with low voltage wire. When pressed, nothing happens! It’s the only one in the house, in the main bedroom. Is it a panic button for a defunct home security system? Or something else

This really looks like oil, but also it is sticky. At the same time, I feel like it is boiling

i always see these nuts/fruits around the smoking area at work. most of the time they’re deconstructed from animals or rot. found a ripe(?) one and decided to take it apart. the orange juice that came out stains and has no smell. the seed usually looks like a walnut.

It's metal, has a tapered end and then a narrow end that doesn't appear to come off, at least not easily

UPDATE- all three kids and husband are as puzzled as I am. We’re working on the squishy toy/ dough theory but none of them can give any clarity.
My daughter thinks it’s a mushroom but then got weirdly indignant when I asked her if she regularly carries mushrooms on her pocket and said she’s strictly a Toadstool gal. Husband folded the laundry and all pockets were empty and clean. I don’t think we’re gonna solve this one team….
Just did a load of colours and this disgusting/weird ball fell out of the dryer when I went to unload it. It’s almost like a ball of dried out dough in texture? Was originally round until I squished it. Smells like laundry detergent so that’s not helpful. Two of my kids have brain injuries/short term memory issues so I can expect creative but not necessarily accurate answers when I ask them…

It looks like an old mousetrap within a cutout book, but I have zero idea why she would cut open a book to put it in there. Does anyone have any ideas?

came with my old black and white portable crt, what does it do?
r/whatisit • u/Inevitable_Eye3800 • 3h ago
It seems to be some sort of circuit board. It was found randomly in the woods near a broken mirror (that I took with me as well lol). I haven't been to the woods since for unrelated reasons
If you have a joke answer, please also include a serious answer.

Looks old as hell. I added the blue twine to keep the cushion together. And there's new wing nuts. But that's it.
