Democratic Exchange of Opinions Bigotry Doesn’t Belong in Helldivers 2

Western Michigan was cheated every which way the whole game. Ended it only for the game to keep going for these bums. Wolverines are a disgrace to college football.

Yes, I understand that the Mercator projection makes countries further from the equator seem bigger than they are. But most of the world's population, economy and trade takes place in these countries, so it makes sense for them to be more easily accessible on the map, within reasonable limits. Imagine someone looking for Germany on the new map having to zoom in as much as if they were looking for Hungary on the old map.
TLDR I think it's okay for a map to be slightly distorted for the sake of practicality, as long as people are informed about it.
Edit: today I learned people feel MUCH stronger about this than I thought

I'm an American, grew up In America, and it's fine. Probably pretty similar to anywhere else. I have friends of many different races, and we're not at each others throats. I have friends and family that voted in all different ways, we conversate and get along great. Feels like if you open reddit you think we're on the verge of a war.. not really the case.

So, my (18F) little sister, Emily, is 16 and does All-Star cheer. She is really, really good, but she also has the world's longest hair. She is basically Rapunzel. Her hair goes past her knees and is so long that if she tilts her head back, it drags on the floor behind her.
It took her from the time she was 10 years old to grow her hair that long. It took years of care, special oils, and maintenance. Normally for cheer, we put her hair in milkmaid braids.
I used to do All-Star cheer too, but then I got pregnant. I'm currently 8 months pregnant, and you can't do cheerleading while pregnant, so right now I'm helping Emily out with her team.
The girls had a competition where they were required to have their hair slicked back into a high ponytail with curls and a cheer bow. Everyone on the team except Emily used a ponytail extension. They put their hair in buns and attached extensions.
Emily and I did a practice run to see if an extension would fit her hair, and guess what? The ponytail extension was too small for her hair. Her hair is just too thick and too long.
So we went to a professional hairstylist to get it done. They used only her natural hair. They styled the top part into the ponytail and braided the bottom part into a bun. It looked really pretty. They curled it, and Emily was ecstatic. We also added hair glitter, which everyone on the team uses.
When we got to the competition, the coach pulled me aside and told me that it was against the rules for Emily to have her hair professionally done. She said it didn't matter how long Emily's hair was, that she needed to wear an extension like everyone else, and that her natural hair wasn't allowed. The coach also said that the team didn't look cohesive because it was obvious that Emily's hair had been professionally styled and she wasn't wearing an extension.
I told the coach that Emily's hair simply didn't fit into any of the extensions because it was too thick and too long. I also pointed out that her hair looked really good, was out of her face, was out of everyone else's way, and matched the style everyone else had. The only difference was that her hair was much longer.
The coach then said Emily would have to sit out of the competition unless she got her hair fixed to match everyone else's. I told her I had spent $150 getting it professionally done, and I wasn't going to take it down and redo it. The extensions didn't fit, and I didn't have enough time to order another one from Amazon that might not even work.
The coach then called Emily over and asked what she wanted to do. Emily said she wanted to keep her hair the way it was and still compete because she knew the extension idea wasn't possible with hair as long as hers.
Emily started crying really hard. The coach told her that if she wanted to compete, she would have to take her hair down because everyone had to look the same.
At that point, Emily just wanted to go home, so we left. We talked about it afterward, and now I'm wondering:
Am I in the wrong?

Due to circumstances outside my control I had to cancel my subscription early into Midnight (I never made it outside Silvermoon). I've been seeing more and more discourse online about how they can't support WoW because it has become "too political". I am very outside of the story and would like to know if it's an actual discussion or is it a dog whistle for there's queer characters mentioned or a villain character displayed empathy. It's hard to tell these days with all the redpill content creators who parrot buzz words but never explain or clarify.

Western Michigan won that game. This needs to be overturned. You guys are a bunch of crooks.

If you happen to be an aspiring youtuber at the same time as you are an aspiring motorcyclist, maybe record another one of your hobbies and focus on learning to ride the bike. The sheer amount of videos that get posted just on this sub alone of brand new riders sending their bikes into a ditch is horrifying. The camera is a distraction, and it is encouraging you to do something cool because you are recording. You are not ready to do something cool, forget the camera.

Everywhere I go, I see people releasing new software. It might be people who have got some coding experience and are now using AI to accelerate, or it might be people who are building software for the first time.
Every time I see something being launched, even on a non-software forum - I just see
And just plain, personal hatred.
I just don't understand it. It costs money to buy gold. It takes time. And just because the AI does a lot of the coding doesn't make it easy. It just makes it faster.
And I fully understand, like, we don't need another journal application or another to-do list. But I found a guy today who made an OBD Reading App for Cars, open-sourced it and people just slated him.
Just makes me mad! I feel like if Linus Torvalds had existed in the kind of enviroment, we wouldn't have Linux.

I don't see any reason to assume Ymir wasn't Eldian; Germanic tribes enslaved each other long before the Romans arrived.
I think it makes the most sense that the reason Eldians are connected isn't because they are directly related to Ymir, but because they are just the same race as her.

EDIT:
To all the ppl shitting on this playstyle, this is an LTM that’s focused on fast paced, back-to-back gunfights. The fact that you spawn with your loadout and specialist means everyone’s more aggressive and you don’t need to worry about preserving your life. The normal game modes are nowhere near as hectic.

Hello,
Our 7 month old baby gets up often every night. My wife consequently does not sleep very well.
Many mornings I take care of the children so she can sleep in. I also offer help during the night for instance once I kept her 4 hrs on my arm on the rocking chair so she can sleep uninterrupted. Very early on I told her we should give formula at night so that I can give her something instead of breast feeding. That proposal was shot down and I was even insulted.
She constantly complains being sleep deprived, but then she goes to bed at 2 in the night or even later. She spends hours browsing Instagram. I sometimes go to bed late, too, but then I still get up at 7:30 together with the kids.
I get annoyed when I see her up so late because of her constant complaints. But when I suggest she goes to bed earlier she gets angry.
AITA for suggesting she sleeps earlier?
