New apartment seems cozy

Me and my Dad built this cabin out of pallets. Very happy considering it was our first time doing this kind of thing!

I like it a little darker. Still missing a couple things but I’m happy with how it turned out ☺️

First time living alone and my first own apartment! Super stoked but I have no idea what to do with it

Correction: 4.5m (14.5 ft) from couch. Went with a matte finish TV to avoid the big black mirror effect. It's a small 700 square foot apartment.

WANT TO CLARIFY THIS IS MY ROOM AND THE DOG DOESNT SPEND TIME IN HERE

I've recently went on a trip to forget about some stuff, now I know why I didn't wanted to go back...

I was depressionmaxing and stopped going out with friends and going to school for a reason. Then I decided to go on a trip with friends and things started to gain more colour. Had my first time and gained more friends, but ofc I had to go back home, and things were so nice that I forgot about my room.

Just watching my room made me feel depressed again, want to stop that feeling.

My major issue is that I have no idea how to organize my space, I don't have anyone to help me with this task other than myself. What I want to do first is WASH my clothes and fold them, but I don't know how to maintain that organisation.

Hello everyone just moved into my place and have this nice darker reddish wood floor. Planning to get a new coffee table and tv stand that’ll be natural oak or hard maple as I plan to make it.

But I’m not very good at designing appreciate suggestions the goal is to make it homey and nice to look at.

Here is my first attempt at decorating a room with all things I picked out. Most of my life and space has been made up of hand me downs and junk.

I see this written all the time, but who is on the opposite side of the "apartment living sucks" crowd. Who actually likes, and prefers living apartment life, and why? I myself am trying to decide, apartment or house. I am alone, so apartment seems to make more sense.
