I was going to tag this as serious, because having my hypothetical future earning potential criticized, whenever I wasn't acting like a normal adult (despite being 5), messed me up. However, there is a lot of humor potential here.

Fortunately, my life is far better than my family trained me to expect, even if they're incapable of seeing it.
