I know it's also a whole art deal to be very precise with measuring and stuff (like chefs getting a random potato and then the instruction to slice exactly 12gram or some shit and they do it, by just looking and one cut)

Very well done! I sense there is a kit being designed right now so all you have to do is slice the potato to the correct thickness and press these cuts and pull and fry and sell for $10 with large flake salt/Lawry's/garlic parmesan at state fairs and I am all for it.
